Perched on a volcanic rock, Edinburgh Castle is one of the most exciting historic sites in Western Europe. Our guide will share with you many exciting tales of its time as a military fortress, royal residence and prison of war. We'll then take a walk along the Royal Mile, discovering its charm. Running through the heart of Edinburgh historic city center, the Mile is flanked by impressive, towering buildings between which cobbled closes and narrow stairways lead off to hidden courtyards, museums bars and more that are waiting to be explored.
