First Nations Storytellers

As part of our Canadian adventure, you’ll be able to spend time at First Nations Storyteller on day 2 of your Canadian Maritimes tour.

Founded in the fall of 2021 by visionary co-founders Dave Smith and Gail Bremner, their journey began with a shared recognition of a glaring gap: the absence of authentic Indigenous narratives in our region. Driven by a passion to bridge this void, Gail and Dave meticulously crafted a business plan that not only envisioned but demonstrated the viability of our mission. And thus, in the fall of 2021, First Nations Storytellers was born. The inaugural experience took place on June 1, 2022, marking the commencement of our endeavour to weave together the threads of Indigenous heritage, culture, and teachings. Since then, we've embarked on a transformative journey, curating immersive experiences that celebrate the diversity and resilience of First Nations peoples.

The mission is to create economic opportunities for Indigenous people in New Brunswick while creating and delivering authentic and interactive Indigenous tourism experiences for residents, students, and visitors.  They aspire to foster an understanding of Indigenous culture through storytelling. Authenticity will be the cornerstone of all what they do. Creating a respectful and safe space for everyone to participate. Fostering a team environment that promotes sharing, fun, and giving back to our communities.
